1. Go to settings menu => and then Options
2. Select Advanced options => and then Sim card
3. Type MEPD using your Blackberry keyboard (NOTE: You will not see any
text appear on the screen while typing MEPD)
4. Type MEP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2 on your Blackberry keyboard (NOTE:
You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPD)
5. You should be presented with a prompt "Enter Network MEP Code". Type
in the unlock code received from www.vannuyswireless.com and press in
the track wheel / jog dial to confirm
6. Your phone is now unlocked

on BlackBerry 8100 Pearl:
Step Action
1 Insert SIM into device
2 Power phone on and Turn off the radio (Turn Wireless Off option) VERY
IMPORTANT.
3 Select "Options" THEN SELECT ADVANCED OPTIONS
4 Scroll down and select "SIM Card"
5 Type "MEPPD" (please note that you will not see what you type on the
screen)
6 Type "MEPP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2" (please note that you will not
see what you type on the screen)
7 Enter the Unlock Code
8 Press enter
9 Reboot device. Device is now unlocked.

Make sure the phone is not displaying the low battery warning! *****
- go to settings
- go to options
- go to advanced options
- go to sim card
- Type MEPD (not case sensitive) (you will
not see text appear on screen while typing)
- Does it say Network active? if so your
phone is locked
- Hold the ALT Key while typing in MEPE
(not case sensitive, and you will not see text appear on screen
while typing)
- It will say "Enter Network MEP Code, then
you type in the unlock code, press in the jog dial to confirm.
- Your phone is now unlocked

How to Enter Unlock Codes
on BlackBerry 6xxx 7xxx: ie 6230, 7100, 7290 etc..
- Select Options menu on BB.
- Now you select SIM CARD menu. To be able
to see this you have to type this on the keypad on phone : (TEXT
WILL NOT APPEAR ON THE SCREEN until you enter the unlock code)
- Type 'MEPD' for all models except 7100 in
which case in case use 'MEPPD'.
- Usually u should see "active" NET lock.
Now in order to disable this lock type 'MEP2' respectively 'MEPP2'
if phone is 7100 and will appear a dialog asking for code. NOTE: You
must use the "alt" or "shift" key to enable numbers so example would
be: m-e-p-"alt key"-2 Now you should see the place to enter your net
unlock code.(if not, you didn't type in mep2 or mepp2 properly.)
- Here you must enter the "NET Unlock Code"
that we gave you.
How to Enter Unlock Codes
on Treo 600, 650 and 680 Cell Phones
- Remove Treo battery,
- Insert incorrect SIM card (Any simcard
that the phone does not accept)
- Power on Treo-650, 'Sim not allowed' is
displayed, click OK
- Go to the dial pad, and use the stylus to
enter MEP code . You must enter the code in the following fashion:
- *#*#(MEP-CODE)# then press dial
(Where (MEP-CODE) is to be replaced by the ACTUAL code supplied
by the unlocking software)
- For example if the software supplied
12345678 as your MEP code for your phone , you must enter the
code as follows:
*#*#12345678# , then press dial
Again the above numeric code is for illustration purposes,
please enter the MEP code as supplied by us.
- Phone will reset and display sim lock
removed
How to Enter Unlock Codes
on the Treo 750
- Insert a non native sim card (didn't come
with the phone) and when prompted for unlock code, enter the code
you were given.
How to Enter Unlock Codes
on a Cingular BlackJack
Step Action
1 Insert NON Cingular SIM into device
2 Power on the
device
- Wait approximately 30 seconds until the SimLock application appears
(the delay may be longer if the user has already attempted an unlock
with the wrong code)
3 Enter the unlock
code in the blank field
4 Press Ok
- If the unlock code is incorrect, an error dialog will appear.
After pressing Ok on this dialog, the user has to re-enter the unlock
code after delays (see above in Device Specific Information)
- If the unlock code is correct, a success dialog will appear.
5 Press Ok
- The device is now unlocked and should continue booting
OR
- Insert disallowed simcard (a simcard that
the phone does not usaully accept) and enter unlock codes when
prompted

- NOTE: If you are unable to connect to
service provider or unable to make out going calls or recieve
messages, this has nothing to do with your phone being locked or
not, you need to force the BlackJack to change to GSM mode, this
can be done as follows:
- Power on your Phone
- Enter *#1546792*#
- Select Option 3 Network & Call
Settings
- Select option 5 Network Mode
- Select GSM
This should resolve your problem.
How to Enter Unlock Codes
on HP iPaq series phones (iPaq 6315, 6325, 6300, 6515 , etc)
Step Action
1 Insert NON Cingular SIM into device

device
- Wait approximately 30 seconds until the SimLock application appears

- On the Today screen, tap Start >
Settings.
- Tap the Phone Band icon.
- Tap the Keyboard icon to open the virtual
keyboard
- Tap Shift and then Ctl key to enable the
keys.
- Tap the blank area below the band
selection box to open the unlock tool.
- Tap Shift and then Ctl to disable the
keys.
- Enter the 8-digit unlock code and tap OK
when done.
- Wait for the device to validate the
unlock code (about five seconds). You will see one of the following
screens:
- Unlock successful.
- Unlock failed due to incorrect code.
The user has three attempts to unlock. After three attempts, the
device will refuse any more unlocking attempts. Perform a soft
reset to reset the counter to perform additional unlocking
attempts.
- Device is not ready for unlocking.
This error message displays when the user tries to unlock when
the phone application (not the device) is not in a steady state.
It takes 30 seconds after powering on the phone for it to reach
a steady state.

on Sony-Ericsson Cell Phones
- Switch ON your phone with Sim card inside
- Press 1 time the left arrow
- Press 2 times the button *
- Press 1 time the left arrow
- 'Personalize with MNC2' will appear
- You can now enter your unlock code

- If your phone has a 'JOGDIAL' (ex :
SonyEricsson K700i) you must press 'Down arrow' instead of 'Left
arrow' for step 2 & 3. We mean by 'Down arrow'' to direct the
Jogdial down.

Subsidy/Unlock Codes on Motorola Cell Phones
- Switch ON your phone with a not allowed
Sim card (one that didn't come with the phone)
- the phone show 'Enter Special Code' or
'Enter Subsidy Code' and you can now enter your unlock code

- Note: If you get the prompt "Contact
Service Provider" or "Phone Blocked" , please leave your phone
on at that prompt for upto 8 hours. This will reset the phone's
internal timer and automatically change the prompt to "Enter
Subsidy Code" , at which point you should enter the unlock codes

How-To Enter Unlock Codes
